Beatrice Ridley is an art advisor specialising in contemporary art. Her 16 years of experience encompasses working with both emerging and established artists globally, in capacities as both gallerist and advisor. Beatrice’s clientele is diverse, including new and seasoned art collectors, interior designers, property developers, architects and corporate collectors.
Before venturing into the art world, Ridley was a litigation lawyer at Clifford Chance and an in-house lawyer at Deloitte & Touche LLP, handling numerous high-profile cases. Her journey into art began unexpectedly during maternity leave in 2008 when she started painting. This led to her representation as an artist by Arthur Ackermann’s gallery and subsequently to the founding of her own innovative gallery, Pepper Gallery. This gallery, known for its exhibitions in various Mayfair locations and sponsorships by international brands, showcased a spectrum of artists, ranging from emerging talents to internationally acclaimed artists.
